The feature debut of acclaimed theatre director Kevin Treacy and cinematographer Jason Byrne is a love letter to outsiders. John Connors plays a suicidal man who voluntarily admits himself to a psychiatric clinic, where he falls in love with a schizophrenic patient (Jade Jordan) who can never leave. Their growing affection is seen as a threat to the treatment. »Crazy Love« tenderly portrays the misunderstood and overlooked of society, and a harsh system that has strayed too far from its human core. With music by legendary composer Phil Keiran, the unusual relationship becomes a desperately beautiful struggle for love and survival in a hopeless place.
