While playing in the woods, a 10-year-old Columbian boy is abducted by an armed group. As his mother desperately searches to find him, he creates a fantasy world as a defense mechanism. In this world, he discovers he has been taken to a dark and surreal garden where children are “planted” and forced to grow flowers from their heads, producing a perfume known as the scent of fear.
