If Hollywood can do it, we can do it too: The OLB Walk of Fame is getting a fourth star on Friday September 17th at 11.30am: Canadian actress Deborah Kara Unger will be the first woman honored with a carved stone in Oldenburg. She rose to fame with roles in Cronenberg’s CRASH and Fincher’s THE GAME and coolly seduced audiences in 88 MINUTES opposite Al Pacino. For EMILE she won the Geraldine Page Award, for SUNSHINE and BETWEEN STRANGERS she was nominated for the Genie Award the Canadian Oscar. At the Oldenburg Filmfestival she takes on the duty of the jury president and is presenting Raul Inglis’ thriller TAKEDOWN on the festival’s Gala Evening.
